Questions, answered
Area representative FAQ.
What does an EZPlacemats area representative do?
You build relationships with local restaurants and businesses, explain the placemat advertising program, and help bring qualifying projects together in your territory.
How much can a representative earn?
The current model pays $100 per ad, for a total of $1,600 per completed project. Earnings depend on your projects and relationships; income is not guaranteed.
Is this an employee position?
This is an independent-contractor opportunity, not employment. You choose how to organize local outreach and are responsible for understanding your own tax and business obligations.
How are territories selected?
Choose one home county and two nearby bordering counties. Choices are held only after email verification, and reserve counties unlock after your first qualifying project within the program window.
What does the activation fee cover?
After acceptance, a one-time $199 activation fee covers setting up your representative account and access to the program tools, as well as helping with costs like hosting, future website development, and more. It is not charged during the initial application.
